“Any word from the Azzurri yet father?”, Adorra Al'Teelanna asks as she enters the War Room, with Mac and Gil in tow.

“I've just gotten word that a messenger is at the gates. He should be here presently”, King Duncan answers his daughter then goes back to pointing to his map of Provinceland. He is pointing to the clearing at Adam's Outpost and quietly discussing strategy with General Tye, the commander of the Red Shields, and Eternicus Etherian, the advisor to the King and his life long friend.

Just then, a quiet knock comes at the door and a young lad of maybe sixteen clad in black and silver stands there silently holding a rolled-up parchment in his hand.

“Come forward boy and give that to me”, King Duncan bellows, making the poor kid jump with fright.

The messenger carefully moves forward past Gil, who smiles at him, past Mac who grunts at him causing the teen to jerk away in fear, then past Adorra who intently watches him as he hands the message to her Father.

The King reads it softly to himself, then scrunches it up and throws the note on the table, “Tell Vito we'll be there. Now off with you!”, he barks and the young messenger turns and flees. Adorra can swear she sees wetness in the front of his pants as he runs past her.

Adorra approaches the table, “So when do we leave father?”.

“We must meet him at Adam's Outpost in less than a week. We should prepare and head out immediately”, the King commands. General Tye gives the standard fist to chest salute and the dark man heads off to prepare his best men for the meeting.

“There is something in there that you are going to like, but also not”, King Duncan says.

“That makes no sense Father...”, Adorra comments, “I cannot like and dislike something at the same time”.

“Well, try this on for size. The message says Franko has recovered due to some special Hyper...something....” The King's words immediately brighten up his daughter’s face, “...but Vito will not allow him to come to the meeting. He is to be sequestered in Azzurri until our conflict comes to an end”.

The Princesses smile turns upside down, then into a half smile, “You're right Father. I love and hate that response”, the Princess comments.

King Duncan chuckles, “Fortunately for you, I have more respect for my daughter and because of that you will be coming with us on this quest”.

“Oh, I do not think you could have stopped me Father”, Adorra says back with a smile.

“I'm aware my dear. Now grab those two over there and make sure you are ready to go at first light tomorrow”, King Duncan commands and his daughter smiles and nods before spinning on her heels and walking confidently off towards the exit.

Once outside she waits for Gil to close the War Room door before she speaks, “So, you both know that we aren't just going to leave Franko trapped there right? We will be sneaking off tonight and freeing him”, Adorra says in a hushed tone.
